Established in 1804, Ohio University is the oldest public institution of higher learning in the State of Ohio and the first in the Northwest Territory. Its library has grown from 3,000 volumes in 1830 to more than 3 million print and digital volumes in 2010. The Ohio University Libraries contribution to the Internet Archive includes content from the Mahn Center for Archives and Special Collections and from the Hwa-Wei Lee Center for International Collections.
